Farmers Creek Revegetation Project
Gang Gang Cockatoos are a much-loved local species of bird that was heavily affect by the 2019 / 2020 bushfires. Their loss of crucial habitat coupled with disconnected vegetation refuges signal a great threat to the future of the species.
Lithgow Oberon Landcare Association are very happy to have been awarded a grant fund from the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife to plant 1000 trees along Farmers creek to provide habitat and flight corridors for the Gang Gang Cockatoo.
