Dear runner,
Run Melbourne, presented by The Age, takes place on Sunday June 28.
 If you are participating in this event, we wish you well in your pursuits. But as you work
towards reaching peak fitness for the event, there is also something you can do in this lead up
that can positively affect others.
This year Run Melbourne is actively facilitating runners who register on its website to also sign up as Everyday Heroes. Everyday Heroes is a website that helps connect individuals to the charities and not for profit
causes they care most about, making it easier for them to raise funds for those organisations.
Competing in such an endurance event as the Run Melbourne is a perfect opportunity to enjoy an
invigorating day out while demonstrating your community spirit by raising money for charity.
What would please us even more is if you choose to support our organisation, the Foundation for
National Parks & Wildlife. Registering your fundraising account for our organisation will take
no more than two minutes.

Here's how to do it:
- Click this unique link to set up a fundraising page for the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife
- Start by creating a Fundraising Account username and password. (You will need to enter some personal contact information which is used to for receipting purposes and for us to contact you with a letter of thanks.)
- Sign up as an individual or team. More than likely you will be creating an individual page so click 'Create Page'
- Pick a colour scheme for your page and click continue
- Choose a title and target fundraising amount plus a name for your unique web page. This web page is the link that you will use to send to your friends and supporters, allowing them to donate to your Hero page
