Golden Paw Species Rescue

In 2007 you raised this much!

2007 Golden Paw Species Rescue

The Golden Paw Species Rescue raises much needed funds for our threatened species in the wild.

Every year, the Foundation nominates an animal in need for the program.

For every Golden Paw entry Dymocks has donated $1 to the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife to support the Golden Paw Species Rescue.

With 5664 entries received in 2007 that would be $5664 for the endangered Green and Golden Bell Frog. Dymocks however decided to again make it a round figure by presenting a big cheque of $7,500!

The Golden Paw Species Rescue fund will this year support a project to help save the endangered Green and Golden Bell Frog, shown on the banner in the photo below.

2006 Golden Paw Species Rescue

In 2006 the children and Dymocks raised enough money to buy equipment to rescue marine mammals such as dolphins and seals. This year the money will help the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife to save Australia's frogs from extinction.

Everyone can join the Golden Paw Species Rescue!

If you're 12 years-old or younger simply enter the competition and you will raise $1 donation from Dymocks with your drawing.

All of us who are too old to enter, don't despair - you can still help! Simply by making a donation to the Golden Paw Species Rescue.

2005 Golden Paw Species Rescue

In 2005 the Foundation decided to direct the Golden Paw Species Rescue funds towards the recovery program for the endangered Brush-tailed Rock-wallaby.

More than 4,700 children entered the Golden Paw Award. Dymocks decided to not only give $1 per entry but donated a staggering $7,500 towards the program. This money supported a captive breeding program to help rescue the species.
